Electric (Heat Pump) Clothes Dryers
> Under new federal legislation, Energy Star Heat Pump Clothes Dryers will be eligible for up to a $840 rebate for those who earn less than 150% of their Area Median Income.  These rebates will not be available until the program is finalized by individual states, hopefully this Fall in Colorado. Rebates will be:
  •       Maximum Allowed Rebate Amount Per Household Below 80% Area Median Income (AMI) - 100% of project costs up to $840
  •       Maximum Allowed Rebate Amount Per Household Between 80 & 150% of AMI - 50% of project costs up to $840

> Locally, SMPA has a $180 rebate for either Energy Star Heat Pump or Hybrid Heat Pump Dryers.  More info on the SMPA Rebates page under "Energy Star Appliances and Recycling".
